  • The local library will be open during the European Heritage Days, September 16th and 17th.
    Several events will take place on the local library.

    The local library of Versailles is settled since 1803 in the former buildings of the Foreign Affairs and Navy of Louis XV hotel , built between 1761 and 1763. The library preserves important patrimonial bottoms resulting from revolutionary confiscations or donations.

    Exhibition.
    - On Saturday 16th, from 10:00AM to 6:00PM
    - On Sunday 17th, from 10:00PM to 5:00PM
    Free access.

    "Visits at the heart of memory"
    Visits commented behind the scenes by the library, every hour.
    - On Saturday 16th, from 11:00AM to 6:00PM. Last visit at 5:00PM.
    - On Sunday 17th, from 11:00PM to 5:00PM. Last visit at 4:00PM.
    On-the-spot reservation and during the EHD: only for half day which follows.
    From 10 years old.
    Group of 10 people.
    Free access.

    "The Machine to go back in time"
    Writing workshops, exclusively for the children from 8 to 14.
    On Sunday 17th, from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.
    A workshop every 20 minutes.
    Free access.

    "The Gallery of honour of the Hotel of Foreign Affairs"
    Visit commented of the Gallery (local library)
    On Sunday 17th, from 10:00AM to 5:00PM.
    Free access.
