The district of Chantiers
Cultural
at Versailles

Discover the different aspects of a historic district in mid-transformation – Originally under the shadow of the Palace of Versailles, for which it provided the water of the Gobert reservoir, the district of Chantiers has become one of the largest transport exchange points of the west of Paris, with its famous station classed as a historical monument due to its innovative layout.
Its industriousness is still demonstrated by the activity of the Chaudé mills, situated near the peaceful Saint Elisabeth Church, subtly named in memory of Louis XVI's sister. -
