This workshop provides an introduction to the arts of stained glass and jewellery.
Stained glass workshop:
This workshop will introduce you to the art of stained glass "Tiffany pattern", the pieces of glass are coated with copper ribbons soldered with tin (and not set with lead according to the medieval technique). The workshop will make the link between the stained glass technique and the Château de Versailles. It
The workshop will link the technique of stained glass with the Château of Versailles and will work on the ornamental motifs that can be found in the château and its emblems. A few drawings will be prepared as models (sun, fleur de lys, castle, fountain, wig, etc.) but participants will also be able to give free rein to their inspiration and draw their own emblem of Versailles. These drawings will be used to work with glass and stained glass to create a unique object that can be hung on keys or as a decoration.
Jewellery workshop:
Fashion brands have been exploring the world of accessories for a long time... Yves Saint-Laurent himself chose the jewellery that adorned his silhouettes! He called on names that have become legendary: Roger Vivier, Maison Hamon, Roger Scemama, Gripoix, Goossens and many others. As fashions changed, so did the experts, but the demand for creativity and quality remained the same. During this one-day module, we will offer you the opportunity to experiment and make your first fashion jewel. The metal used will be pewter, whose properties make it perfect for the rapid development of an idea in volume.
