The Palace of Versailles will host Hiroshi Sugimoto, from October 16, 2018 to January 20, 2019. The Japanese artist will invest the gardens of the Trianon estate where he will invite art, architecture and live performance
Every year since 2008, the Château de Versailles has invited artists from all over the world to enhance the artistic heritage in all its forms.

This year, the Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto will invest the gardens of the Domaine de Trianon to share his works and his artistic vision, in this place far from the pomp of the court, intimate and enchanting.

Created by Louis XIV who built a marble castle, today called the Grand Trianon, the estate is transformed by Queen Mary
Antoinette who finds the Petit Trianon a refuge from the constraints of the court of Versailles. She has a romantic garden decorated with factories, a theater and then a hamlet.

The domain of Trianon is open from noon, every day except Monday (weekly closing).
