Presentation

A great program to introduce your students to three art trades rich in history! Marvel at the Palace of Versailles, where the King’s Private Apartments bear witness to the exceptional refinement of the French decorative arts in the 18th century. Then, go into town to discover the know-how of the builders who used the technical means at their disposal to enhance the aesthetics. Finally, enjoy the same search for perfection at some craftsmen specialized in sweet and savoury delicacies of Versailles. A day between history and current events!

Morning:
Guided tour “The art of embellishing facades” – 1h30
Picnic lunch (lunch provided) in a green area of the City
Afternoon:
Guided tour of the Private Apartments of Louis XV and Louis XVI – 1h30
Tasting tour “Gastronomy in the time of Kings“ – 1h30

This price includes :

    The services of a guide-lecturer approved by the Ministry of Culture (one guide assigned per group of 25 people maximum)
