Works by Bach and Haendel concert, as part of the Musiques à Versailles 2022-2023 festival.
Johann Sebastian BACH, Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G major for string ensemble
Georg Friedrich HAENDEL, Concerto in G minor opus 7 no 6
Samuel Gaskin, organ (student of the organ class of the CRR of Versailles Grand Parc)
Johann Sebastian BACH, Concerto for three violins and strings in D major
Garance Vialatte violin - Ariane Kerouanton violin - Paola Larrea violin
Georg Friedrich HAENDEL, Concerto in F major opus 4 nº4
Jean-Baptiste Robin, organ
Jean Baptiste Robin, organ
Saskia Lethiec, conductor and solo violin
& the string ensemble formed by young talents from the CRR of Versailles
For its last concert of the season, Musiques à Versailles honours the young soloists and former students of the regional conservatory, who share the stage with two accomplished artists. Together, they perform four great works by the geniuses of the German Baroque! The three string groups of Bach's famous Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 are answered by Handel's sumptuous organ phrases, in which Jean-Baptiste Robin reveals all his musical intelligence. As for Bach's Concerto for three violins, it will be an opportunity to discover young artists whose great sensitivity, solid technical mastery and profound expressiveness do not belie the adage: value does not await the number of years!
