By prefectural decree applicable since 31 December 2021, the wearing of protective masks in the Yvelines department is compulsory indoors and is limited to places and times of heavy outdoor traffic.

The obligation to wear a mask does not apply to
- to persons under the age of eleven,
- to people with a medical certificate justifying this exemption,
- persons practising a physical or sporting activity.

Conditions of access to the Versailles Tourist Office :

The reception desk located on avenue de Paris is open and welcomes you from Tuesday to Thursday from 10 a.m to 12:30 p.m - 1:30 p.m to 5 p.m. Then from Friday to Sunday from 10 a.m to 5 p.m.

The Tourist Office undertakes to respect the health standards imposed by the government to offer the most secure reception possible to the public:
- installation of plexiglass
- provision of hydroalcoholic gel
- disinfection of premises
- installation of travel signage
- wearing a mask is compulsory
- physical distance of at least 1 meter

You can continue to visit us at the Tourist Office located 2 bis Avenue de Paris, if you wish to buy tickets at the Tourist Office you will be asked to present either a negative PCR or antigenic test of less than 72 hours or a health pass at the road complete vaccine. This will validate the sale by ensuring that you will be able to participate in these different activities, the tickets are not refundable in case of refusal of access to the site.

Museums and cultural activities :

Palace of Versailles

In accordance with the legal provisions in force, from Wednesday July 21, 2021 (August 30, 2021 for 12 - 17 years old), a health pass and an identity document must be presented to be able to access the Palace and the museums of the national domain of Versailles.

How is it going to happen ?

Upon entry, you must present your QR code of your health pass on paper or on the TousAntiCovid application (complete vaccination, PCR or negative antigenic test of less than 48 hours)

The King's Kitchen Garden

There is no need to get a health pass to visit the King's Kitchen Garden for the individuals, if you want to visit it as a group, a health pass will be required. It will be requested only during special events, festivals etc.

Equestrian Academy of Versailles

The health pass is required at the Equestrian Academy when you attend a show.

Gallery of Sculptures and Casts

The health pass is currently necessary to visit the Gallery of Sculptures and Casts.

Conditions of access to the shows in the city

The events organised by Château de Versailles Spectacles are not subject to the health pass for its outdoor events. You will therefore not have to bring a health pass or a PCR test to go to Fountains Night Show, the Musical Gardens, the Musical Fountains Show or even Napoleon in Versailles.
Wearing a mask and barrier gestures are however recommended, especially in queues.

The serenades that take place in a closed environment are subject to the health pass (vaccination certificate or negative 24h antigenic test or PCR for adults over 18 years old and then for visitors over 12 years old from August 30)

Conditions of access to restaurants and cafes

The health pass is required in cafes and restaurants.

Conditions of access for shops

For the moment businesses are not affected by the health pass.
