Presentation

Book your entry ticket to the Lambinet Museum, for access to the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
The Lambinet Museum is an 18th-century mansion built for Joseph-Barnabé Porchon, one of Louis XV's building contractors. In 1929, the City of Versailles accepted a bequest from Mme Nathalie Lambinet to create a museum, which opened to the public in 1932.
Benefiting from a transfer of the Fine Arts collections from the municipal library, and then gradually enriched by purchases, gifts and bequests, the Lambinet museum is a true "collectors' museum".
