"Christmas in Poland". Orthodox liturgy and choirs. Traditional Christmas songs from Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Serbia.
The group is made up of the male voices of the Polish church music ensemble "Katapetasma*", which takes its name from the Greek word for the curtain or veil that separates the altar area of a church or temple from the other areas.
He is particularly interested in songs from the oldest traditions of church singing, such as Byzantine, Old Russian and Georgian chant. These traditions have been a determining factor in the musical style of the Eastern liturgy throughout the ages of Orthodox art.

The choir's main task is to research and recreate the Orthodox tradition of the services held in the former Republic of Poland.
Traditional songs are also part of the ensemble's repertoire. During its concerts, spiritual songs of popular inspiration are also added to the liturgical pieces. With traditional songs, spirituals and Orthodox liturgical music, the choir takes us on a rich journey through Eastern Poland, Ukraine and Belarus.
The group performs regularly in Poland and abroad. It has a number of television and radio recordings to its credit, as well as a CD entitled "Triptych Jabłeczyński", which is a sample of authoritative pieces from the local styles of Orthodox liturgy that have existed for over 500 years within the Monastery of St. Onuphro in Jabłeczna in eastern Poland.
