Presentation

Through the landmarks of the city, the students will dive into the historical and political events that started the French Revolution. They will learn about the Estates General of 1789 and the opening procession through the streets of Versailles. Other major places will be seen in this tour : the Hôtel des Menus Plaisirs where the the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen was voted but also the the Royal Tennis Court where the founding oath of French democracy was first sworn.
