What if you took advantage of half a day to breathe the fresh air and discover the 600 hectares of the Château de Versailles park and an open-air museum of 200 hectares with more than 2500 plant species?

 

After having equipped yourself with a helmet and gloves, and having initiated yourself to the driving of your all-terrain electric scooter, take the forest paths of the Château of Versailles park with your guide, and head towards the Arboretum of Versailles-Chèvreloup, a natural space managed by the National Museum of Natural History. A guide specialised in trees and fauna will accompany you for about 1 hour and a half to tell you about the plant species found on this site. Afterwards, you will be offered a snack. You will continue your tour by returning to the Château Park and following the Ru de Gally. You will then go towards the Grand Canal and discover the paths not often taken by tourists.

 

Practical information

Duration: 3h30 - 4h. A stop for a snack is scheduled (about 15 minutes). 

The route may be modified or adapted by the guide, taking into account the initiation of each person and any work construction that may have to be done on the routes.

Remember to wear casual or sporty clothes (skirts, sandals and shorts are not recommended).

This activity is suitable for children over 14 years old and is forbidden to pregnant women.

It is necessary to know how to ride a bike.

The equipment (scooters, helmets and gloves) is supplied by the provider, as well as walkie-talkies to listen to the instructions.

A Go Pro camera will be provided to film your discovery (the memory card will be given to you at the end).

The guided tour of the Arboretum and the snack break are included in the price of the service.
