Maison Léon Blum, 5 rue Léon Blum: Tour of the House
On 20 and 21 September, the Maison Léon Blum will be open to the public free of charge from 10am to 6pm. (Re)discover this historic site, which has remained almost intact since 1950, and learn more about Léon and Jeanne Blum.
Guides will be on hand throughout the weekend, and a game booklet for children (aged 6-12) will be on sale (€3).

Musée de la Toile de Jouy, 54 rue Charles de Gaulle Creation of a collective comic strip
After exploring the exhibition ‘Bulles de Jouy: When Toile de Jouy Meets Comics,’ young and old alike are invited to create a collective comic strip set in the Oberkampf factory.
Come and have fun with family or friends and create stories in pictures.

La Fontaine and music: Lyric concert and viola da gamba based on La Fontaine's Fables
To accompany the paintings illustrating La Fontaine's Fables presented in the temporary exhibition "Bulles de Jouy: When Toile de Jouy Meets Comics,‘ the company ’La Grande Fugue" will offer light, classical, unusual, and surprising lyrical concerts based on La Fontaine's Fables.
Every 20 minutes from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., enjoy a show that happily combines viola da gamba and songs about all the fables that enchant young and old alike.

Guided tour of the exhibition ‘Bulles de Jouy—When Toile de Jouy Meets Comics’
While Toile de Jouy and comics may seem like two very different forms of artistic expression, a comparative study reveals many connections between them.
Accompanied by a lecturer, you will discover that printed fabrics featuring characters and comic books are both heirs to the same visual culture and share a common goal: to tell stories through images, one on cotton fabric, the other on paper.

Creative workshop: make and decorate your own sketchbook in the style of a comic strip!
Make a small sketchbook and then customise the cover by developing your own graphic style and creating your own story to turn it into a comic strip.
Both heirs to the same visual culture, printed canvases featuring characters and comic strips aim to tell stories through images.
