Presentation

The museum is housed in the former Hôtel Lambinet, a three-storey building topped with a pediment. It was built in the second half of the 18th century. Today it is the city's art and history museum.

Saturday, September 21 at 4 p.m.:
Guided tour "Mythological and biblical journeys in the museum's collections"
Classical culture was built around Christian and ancient influences that were nourished by Mediterranean voyages. Visitors will travel from East to West to relive these founding stories through the museum's collections.

Sunday, September 22 at 4 p.m.:
Guided tour "Curiosity for distant lands at Versailles"
The artistic crafts of the modern era appropriated materials from the four corners of the globe thanks to the development of maritime expeditions. In the holds of ships, it is also a new fauna and flora that is welcomed with curiosity by the European courts, influencing their way of life.
