Les Dessous de Versailles
Presentation
I tell the story of life at the court of Versailles in a fun, modern and offbeat way! I've given talks on "Les 10 qualités pour être un bon leader selon Louis XIV" (The 10 qualities needed to be a good leader according to Louis XIV), and a lighter version on "amour et séduction à la cour" (Love and seduction at court), as well as a humorous book.
I offer several services:
1) For companies: a conference entitled "Les 10 qualités pour être un bon leader selon Louis XIV". You'll learn, for example, how to overcome impostor syndrome by drawing inspiration from Louis XIV, how to develop a long-term vision and how the brilliant women of the court can inspire women today.
2) For companies or individuals: a lecture on "love and seduction at Versailles", which gives an overview of the emotional life of the Bourbons: from Louis XIII to Louis XVI, from Anne of Austria to Marie-Antoinette:
- What was Louis XIV's first night like?
- Why was the Marquis de Montespan such a magnificent cuckold?
- What did La Pompadour do when she realised she was frigid?
- Why was Madame du Barry nicknamed "the great jumper"?
- Why did it take 7 years for Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette to consummate their marriage?
You'll know it all! The conference can be held in a conference room or as a guided tour of the Marais district in Paris. Ideal for team building.
Either way, you'll have a great time in a great atmosphere.
3) A book entitled "The Versailles Court Survival Guide". Imagine falling asleep and waking up in 1690 at the court of Versailles. You'd need a survival guide to know how to put on make-up, wash up and not make any mistakes at the king's ball! My book is also available in English, to make it accessible to the curious from all over the world.
