Presentation

As part of the masterclass weekend at Villa Viardot, attend the first round of the Lied & Mélodie competition simulations, led by professor Philippe Biros: a glimpse of vocal excellence in a place full of history.
The selected voice-piano duos will present a series of five short recitals (15 minutes each), showcasing their work on the German Lied and French Mélodie repertoire. A unique opportunity to discover rising stars of the classical vocal scene, in the intimate and inspiring setting of the Villa Viardot.

  • Parvati Maeder, mezzo-soprano (Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, CRR de Paris) & Joël Keller, piano (CNSMDP, CRR de Paris – in residence at Villa Viardot from May to October 2025)
