Mystery in Bougival: In the footsteps of Berthe Morisot
Presentation
An immersive, theatrical outdoor investigation in the streets of Bougival. To mark Museum Night, unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of a painting by Berthe Morisot.
In 1882, a scandal rocked Bougival: a painting by the famous Impressionist painter Berthe Morisot had disappeared!
In this town on the banks of the Seine, so often immortalised by artists, you are invited to plunge into the heart of an immersive, dramatised investigation as you wander through the streets of the town centre.
Playing the role of private detectives commissioned by the Chief of Police, you'll have to unravel the facts, interview residents of Bougival at the time, compare versions and reconstruct the events leading up to this mysterious disappearance.
Guided by a map and a game booklet, you'll follow a scripted trail punctuated by encounters, clues and revelations, right up to the final denouement at the Turgenev Dacha.
An original adventure for the whole family, with friends or on your own, combining heritage, the history of Impressionism and living art.
