Since the creation of his ‘Melvile’ series (Ed. Le Lombard), Romain Renard has always accompanied his books with a musical counterpart. For his latest book, ‘Revoir Comanche’, he is back with a new musical offering. It's a journey through the film of old westerns, a road-trip that conjures up the ghosts of Marilyn Monroe and Leonard Cohen, the poetry of Jim Harrison and even Shakespeare's sonnets. Bob Dylan is never far away, and the grain of Neil Young seeps into the dust that covers every myth.
