Set off on a walking tour of the Montreuil district! Along the way, discover some of Versailles’ famous sites. A stroll full of culture and beautiful places.
The tour begins at the Versailles Tourist Office. Then, head towards the Hôtel du Département and the Prefecture, an impressive example of 18th-century administrative architecture.

Continue on to the Hôtel de Madame du Barry, former residence of the Countess du Barry, favorite of Louis XV. Admire the elegance of this mansion before visiting the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles, a venue dedicated to French Baroque music, with concerts and exhibitions.

Next, make your way to the Domaine de Madame Élisabeth, a peaceful haven with its small palace and gardens. Afterwards, pass by the Church of Saint-Symphorien, a charming parish church.
Finish your walk at the Chapel of Lycée Hoche, an architectural gem hidden within this prestigious high school.

This stroll offers a fascinating insight into the history and heritage of Versailles.
