The Tourist Office certified “Tourisme & Handicap”

The Versailles Grand Parc Tourist and Convention Office is certified Tourisme & Handicap for all four types of disability: motor, visual, hearing and intellectual. This national label guarantees personalised assistance, trained staff, accessible information tools and reception areas designed to promote autonomy and comfort.
Renewed in 2025, the certification reflects our long-term commitment to building a truly inclusive destination.

Accessibility in our Tourist Information Centres

Versailles Tourist Information Centre

The entrance is on one level from Place du Maréchal Lyautey, ensuring easy access for all. The reception area includes adapted counters, a hearing loop system for visitors with hearing impairments, enlarged-print documentation and clear, high-contrast signage. The team is trained to support each visitor according to their needs.

Bougival Tourist Information Centre — Maison Berthe Morisot

The access to the Tourist Information Centre is at ground level. The museum area is equipped with an elevator, allowing comfortable movement between levels. The shop is accessible and adapted documentation is available on site.

Jouy-en-Josas Tourist Information Centre

The centre has a level entrance and a fully accessible interior layout. Both the shop and documentation area are designed to offer smooth circulation and easy understanding for all visitors, with clear and readable signage.

Accessible sites in Versailles Grand Parc

Several cultural and natural sites across the territory offer adapted facilities, including the Château de Versailles (with specific accessible areas depending on the disability), the Lambinet Museum, the Maison Berthe Morisot and many accessible parks and gardens. Some activities also include adapted tours or sensory experiences. A detailed list can be prepared if needed.

Mobility and accessible transport

Reserved parking spaces are available throughout the territory. Main bus routes are equipped for passengers with reduced mobility, and the train stations offer adapted assistance services. Depending on availability, some operators also provide specialised transport options.
