Certified Qualité Tourisme™ in 2015 and renewed in 2021, our Office is firmly engaged in a long-term improvement process, reinforced by the Category I classification obtained in 2017. Since 2024, we have also been part of the Destination of Excellence initiative, which aims to position Versailles Grand Parc among France’s exemplary tourist destinations in terms of welcome, innovation and sustainability.

Offering a wide and adapted range of services
We provide ticketing for the Château de Versailles, the Equestrian Academy and several museums.
We offer guided tours, bike rentals and a variety of leisure activities.
Tailor-made and turnkey stays can be organised to meet specific needs.
A souvenir and local products shop is also available in our visitor centres.
What is the Qualité Tourisme™ label?
Created by the French State in 2005, the Qualité Tourisme™ label encourages Tourist Offices and tourism professionals to commit to a national quality framework aimed at visitor satisfaction.
It is a trusted indicator for visitors, guaranteeing controlled, high-quality services across accommodation, restaurants, leisure activities and visitor services.
The label ensures a high standard of welcome and service, enhances the image of the Office, encourages a shared culture of quality among professionals, supports the improvement of practices and strengthens the overall performance of the destination.
What is Category I?
The classification of Tourist Offices, established by the French Ministry of Tourism, ensures consistent service levels across the country. It includes two categories: Category I (the highest) and Category II.
A Category I Tourist Office stands out through ambitious national and international promotion, an extensive service offer, strong commercial actions and the ability to generate its own revenue. It also demonstrates a high level of excellence in hospitality and visitor services.
The Versailles Grand Parc Tourist and Convention Office has been classified Category I since 20 December 2017, a five-year distinction awarded by the French State and a mark of excellence and professionalism.
