In June, the collective of artist-photographers ‘Together for the Children of Madagascar’ invites you to the Carré 59 gallery to discover ‘L'Île Rouge’, a charity exhibition dedicated to Madagascar.
A unique exhibition in which all the works have been created on Antemoro paper, an art paper handmade in Madagascar using traditional techniques.
To mark the occasion, the collective will launch the first issue of CANAL26 magazine, a charity publication combining photo essays, travelogues and writers’ perspectives on the Red Island.
Every copy of the magazine purchased contributes to the funding of the future boat ‘Together for the Children of Madagascar’, a project designed to support the isolated villages along the Pangalanes Canal whilst creating a new source of income to ensure the long-term future of the Ambodimanga school and the association’s activities.
