Saturday from 11am to 6pm
An introduction to bobbin lace: The ‘Mélodie des fuseaux’ Association from the École Polytechnique will introduce you to the art of bobbin lace through hands-on activities and demonstrations.
An introduction to the art of tapestry: Émilien Neu, a textile artist specialising in complex and colourful tapestries, will share his work, which combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary creativity, exploring materials, technique and time.
From 2pm to 6pm:
Introduction to the craft of felt-making: Join this creative workshop for families, which will introduce you and your children to the craft of felt-making and allow you to create your own design using needle-felted wool
2 pm:
Guided tour of the ‘Herbarium Interior’ exhibition by ceramic artist Alice Riehl – Duration: 45 mins.

4pm:
Round-table discussion. A conversation between Alice Riehl, ceramicist, and Marc Jeanson, botanist at the National Museum of Natural History (Paris): the evolution of the relationship between art and the natural sciences (in conjunction with the ‘Herbarium Interior’ exhibition)
