The second edition of the ‘Printemps sur l’Île’ festival will take place from 27 to 31 May, from 10am to 5pm, on Île de la Chaussée.
Various stalls across the island will offer activities for young and old alike, covering workshops, biodiversity, food, cycling, repairs and community involvement.
Programme:
Wednesday 27 May:
Bat walk from 8.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
Thursday 28 May:
Film screening and discussion: ‘Éclaireurs’: From 8.00 pm – Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes. Fondation Bouzemont – 10 rue du Général Leclerc – Bougival.
Sunday 31 May:
11.30 am: Welcome address by the Mayor
3 pm: Concert by pupils and teachers of the Bougival Conservatoire
Véligo, the Île-de-France region’s electric bike hire service: From 11 am to 6 pm.
Sensory walk to discover wild plants: From 10 am to 11.30 am.
Workshops:
Birdhouse-making workshop: Duration: 30 mins. Sessions between 11.00 and 17.30.
Basket-weaving workshop using wild fibres: 11am to 1pm.
Bracelet-making workshop using wild fibres: 2pm to 4pm.
Walking and art workshop using natural materials: 4pm to 6pm.
Biodiversity:
Discovering the Beehive with La Belle Abeille: 11am to 6pm.
Seed bomb stand: 11am to 6pm.
Food:
Seasonal vegetable workshop by AMAP Le Panier de Berthe: 11am to 6pm.
Self-guided tour of the Ferme sur l’île: From 10am to 8pm.
Zero waste and the circular economy:
Recruitment of volunteers to set up a repair café in Bougival: From 11am to 6pm.
Bicycle repair workshop run by the Carrefour des jeunes: From 11am to 6pm.
Making an essential oil spray: At 2pm and 2.30pm. Duration: 30 minutes.
Making homemade laundry detergent: At 3pm and 3.30pm. Duration: 30 minutes.
Social activities
Traditional wooden games: From 11am to 6pm.
Reading and storytelling corner: Two storytelling sessions are also planned, one at 4pm and another at 5pm. Duration: 30 minutes
