Location : Théâtre Montansier
Presentation
Lisa and her friend Léo are 15 years old, and are wondering about the world, their future, the legitimacy and scope of their voices, and the fact that they don't feel heard or understood.
At school, they suffer intolerance and stupidity, embodied by the character of Tony.
At the hospital, Lisa's mother Cathy is confronted with a rigid and unjust hierarchy. Weakened by relationship problems at work, she becomes caught up in an increasingly toxic relationship with Edouard, who constantly devalues her, isolates her and pits her against her daughter in an attempt to break the bond she has had with her since the death of her husband ten years ago.
At home, Lisa opposes her mother's new boyfriend, who imposes his convictions and gradually seeks to establish his authority and domination within the household.
It's a question of control, of a toxic relationship that insidiously leads to the loss of bearings, self-confidence and sometimes the ability to express oneself, at the risk of shattering the family cocoon.
Nicolas Devort plays a succession of ten or so characters to tell Lisa's story.
Text and music Nicolas Devort, writing and direction Clotilde Daniault, lighting Cédric Hennéré, musical arrangements Marc Parodi
