Come and take an art shower at the Carré à la Farine !
A few words from the artist:
"Ten years ago, I held an exhibition in Poland. During that time, I visited Auschwitz and discovered the place where countless lives were extinguished in horror. This experience left me profoundly shaken. Even today, in various parts of the world, conflicts and violence continue to claim many civilian victims and plunge entire populations into suffering. Many people live trapped by war and fear.
This is why I wish to create soothing art installations—akin to prayers—that heal the hearts and bodies of those who visit the gallery. For the past decade, my work has explored the relationship between two colors, aiming to bring forth a rich, radiant light. I believe that art installations can also serve as sources of light.
In this absurd 21st century, I sincerely aspire to find a future filled with hope for the world—not through weapons and shells, but through a 'shower of light' (art)—and I remain committed to continuing my creative work with this conviction." — Hidéo Chita
