Mistinguett's house
Presentation
Jeanne Bourgeois (1875-1956) known as Mistinguett, was a Music-Hall artist from the early 20th century.
She lived in Bougival for about thirty years, in this Directoire-style house with a pediment on all four sides, decorated with arched windows on the ground floor and busts on the facade.
Located at the foot of the Coteau, on the banks of the Seine, the elegant sobriety of its style, its installation in the middle of a park, formerly in the English style, perfectly embody the characteristics of the Bougival residences of the time.
She died there on January 5, 1956 surrounded by her family with whom she lived during her weekends and holidays in Bougival.
