Majestic lighting, live performances and baroque décor immerse you in the refined atmosphere of the Court.

The iconic show at the Palace of Versailles

A true journey through time, Le Parcours du Roi guides you through the Palace's iconic rooms:

  • the Grand Apartments,
  • the Queen's Bedroom,
  • the Hall of Mirrors, where the show reaches its climax with an indoor fireworks display visible from the legendary gallery,
  • or the Gallery of Battles, a large historical fresco where young and old alike can meet a very special guest: the Baroque Santa.

Musicians, Baroque dancers, singers and costumed artists bring these prestigious spaces to life, immersing you in the arts and entertainment of the Court.

A journey through the arts of the 17th century

Jugglers, baroque dancers, musicians, acrobats, magicians... each salon has its own unique atmosphere. The show is directly inspired by the parties and entertainment organised by Louis XIV to impress his court and foreign ambassadors. The 2025 edition features a spectacular opening on the Gabriel Staircase, a song and theorbo concert in the Hercules Room, and sumptuous baroque dances in the Hall of Mirrors. The tour ends in the Gallery of Battles, where a much-anticipated moment awaits families: a meeting with the baroque Santa.

Each stage of this spectacular tour immerses you in the pomp and excess of royal life in the 17th century, enhanced by lighting effects, period music and sumptuous costumes.
