Our horses and carriages are carefully selected for your safety.
The carriages are driven by experienced, qualified coachmen.
- Versailles: to the rhythm of the horses' strides, visit the city, its monuments and its quarters of yesteryear. From Notre Dame Cathedral to the Saint Louis district, via the Salle du Jeu de Paume, discover Versailles and its history. Possibility of being accompanied by a tour guide.
Capacity: 4 to 450 people. Horse-drawn carriage accessible to the disabled.
- Plaine de Versailles: come and discover the Plaine de Versailles on board a horse-drawn carriage for a country-style ride. Approx. 1-hour ride departing from Bailly (78).
Individual, group or family rides, carriage accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Possibility of a gourmet walk with local produce.

For many years now, Les Calèches de Versailles has been committed to quality, to guarantee you the best possible service. Since 2021, SARL Les Calèches de Versailles has been awarded the "Transport de personnes" label by France Énergie Animale (a French association under the law of 1901 which develops, promotes and works towards the success of animal energy in France).
These labels enable you to quickly identify certified professionals who respect animal welfare. The Énergie Animale labels are the only national quality label specifically developed for the working equine industry. They apply to all companies and local authorities using animal energy, whatever their size.
