And that says it all. Is it necessary to draw up a portrait of the man that everyone knows even without having read him? Cyrano. Who is he in our imagination? Bastien Ossart

A solitary hero, truculent and poetic as hell, more or less paunchy depending on who plays him, a wriggling forty-year-old. The Théâtre Les Pieds Nus revisits history in its own way, because to change one's point of view is sometimes to reveal. What we know by heart needs something new.

Cyrano, the 21-year-old hero, danced more than he moved and sang more than he spoke. He had a big nose but he was handsome.

Atypical masks, colourful costumes and an empty stage dotted with lanterns complete our painting. Those who climb mountains have two choices: to tell about their journey, or to tell about the beauty of the mountain. We are the ones who want to tell the beauty of the mountain. Everything has been said, shown, edited. Really?... And if it were played by three women...?
